Do you remember having apple and peanut butter as a kid? Do you still have it now? It is a perfect mixture right? Well, it's also amazing in a salad. But instead of putting peanut butter in we are going to put peanut sauce in. It is also healthy and easy to make so let's get started.
Here is the recipe
Ingredients:
-4 cups of lettuce
-1 apple
-4 heaping tsp of peanut sauce
-2 tablespoons of pine kernels
-2 tablespoons of olive oil
-1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
-dash of salt to taste
-dash of pepper to taste
Instructions:
Place the lettuce in a large bowl. In a different bowl add the chopped up apple and mix it with 2 heaping tsp of peanut sauce. It is better to use a spatula. It might take a while and it might be really annoying at first. It doesn't have to be perfect. Add the apples to the lettuce and combine the ingredients together. Add the pine kernels and mix again. To make the dressing mix the olive oil and balsamic vinegar in a drinking glass. Add 2 heaping tsp of the peanut sauce with a fork. Since the sauce is very thick and sticky this might take a while. Combine the salt and pepper in it. Before eating or serving the salad drizzle and mix the salad dressing over it and mix well.
