Berry Jam

Many people don't actually make berry jam and it is a bit of a shame since it is so easy to make. It is easier than you think. I truly recommend making it

Here is the recipe

Ingredients

-500 grams of

gelling sugar

-1 kg of berries

Instructions

Wash your berries very well. Washing them is a very important step and definitely not something to skip out on. Then what I like to do is find a way to loosen and squish my berries. Whether it is with a knife which is not perfect or a potato masher or something like that. Then I go ahead and mix the sugar in. The sugar has to be gelling sugar or else your jam will not be very good.

You should be able to find it at most of the grocery stores. When finished mixing it up with berries you can go and cook it in a big pan. Keep on stirring well and trying to mash the berries. Let boil for 3 full minutes. When finished put in jars. Keep them closed until ready to eat. First, you want to place your jars somewhere at room temperature. And then when your jars are cooled off you can place them in the refrigerator.
