Chocolate balls from Israel

Noa shared thi recipe with me, I do not even know how to express this in another way but this dessert is SO DELICIOUS AND ADDICTIVE. When I had my first bite the first words that came out of my mouth were"Omg this is so good, how have I never heard of this dessert?" and Noa said, "Because it is from Israel". Loved her response because it is completely true, every place has their own good food that is interesting in its own way, we mostly hear about places such as France, Paris, New York City etc because that is where most of the tourist go to. This treat like many others is sweet, you can customize it, the main ingredients should stay the same but the rest is you who picks if you want more sugar, more cocoa powder etc. Noa told me that everyone knows this food in Israel and it is especially the little kids who make it in kindergarten, it is a tradition from there.

Ingredients

-1 package of plain cookies(will be different in each country)(In Holland they are called Verkade cookies)

-5 tablespoons of sugar

-1/2 cup of butter

-7 tsp of milk

-5 tablespoons of cocoa powder

Instructions:

In a large bowl crunch the plain cookies, you can either do this with your hands or use something like a rolling pin. Crumbs should be formed. Add the remaining of the ingredients and mix with your hands. VERY IMPORTANT TO MIX WITH THE HANDS. A spoon or for instance a spatula will not work for this recipe. You can have a taste of the dough(It is really good).

Place it in the freezer for around 15 minutes, it should be more firm and solid but not completely hard. Form around 1 tsp balls to 1 tablespoons balls. If you want you can roll the balls into shredded coconut but that is optional. If you used the same measurements above you should have around 20 balls. You can eat them on the spot and enjoy.
