Peach Cobler from the United States

The famously beloved American dessert, peach cobbler. Maybe not the first thing that comes to peoples minds when they think of American food but it sure is delicious. With special childhood memories of Allison Ochs who made these and picked peaches out of her neighbours garden, she will forever remember this. This is the recipe originally written by hand.

Here is the recipe:

Ingredients

-4 cups of peaches or any other fruit

-1 cup of flour

-1 cup of sugar

-pinch of salt

-2 tsp of baking powder

-3/4 cup of milk

-1 cup of butter

Instructions

Cut the peaches or fruit, it does not have to look a certain way. In a large bowl mix the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and milk. Take a 9x9 pan and directly melt the butter in it by placing it over a stove top. Add the flour and sugar mixture over and DO NOT MIX. Place the fruit on top evenly and bake for 1 hour at 350 F or 178 Celcius. After you take it out of the oven you want to let it cool for a couple of minutes and serve with vanilla ice cream, enjoy.
